For the first time ever Thames Hospice and nine other cherished UK charities are uniting to respond against the impact that COVID-19 has had on them, for an evening of celebrity entertainment, surprise and laughs, in a bid to raise £500,000.
The Massive Get Together will be streamed live and online hosted by TV and radio broadcasters Gaby Roslin and Amanda Byram on Thursday 17 September 2020 at 8pm. We are calling on our wonderful community to join us and sign up for just £10 to this brilliantly entertaining online event.
Gaby and Amanda will be welcoming stars from stage and screen including 80's singer songwriter Chesney Hawkes, comedian Nina Conti, singer Nadine Coyle, musician Myleene Klass and singer songwriters Sophie Ellis-Bextor, JC Stewart, Donel, Callum Beattie and many, many more.
The Massive Get Together will provide an evening of entertainment and variety, surprise and intrigue, whilst fundamentally facilitating valuable fundraising for us and our other charity colleagues involved – Marie Curie, The Children’s Trust, FareShare, St John Ambulance, Royal Voluntary Service, Love Your Neighbour, Crisis, The Conservation Volunteers and Volunteering Matters.
So, on Thursday 17 September, let’s take the night off - perhaps order a cheeky take-out, and kick back and relax. Your donation will make a positive difference within action against homelessness and hunger, protecting the vulnerable, connecting communities, supporting end of life care and volunteer provision, as well as helping emergency and crisis response services.
With the charity sector facing a potential £12 billion funding shortfall in the next six months, every penny counts and together we can help. It's just £10 to help ten inspiring charities.
Tickets for The Massive Get Together are now available and you can access the event by donating just £10 at
