Today’s photo of the week is of one of the two attenuation tanks currently under construction to manage water drainage at the new hospice site. This is the larger excavation (up to 4m excavation depth) which has been dug to accommodate the system, measuring a whopping 40.8m long, 14.4m wide and 1.4m deep with a capacity of 822,000 litres! The other tank will have a capacity of just 650,000 litres.
