Our new hospice sits in eight acres of beautiful local countryside overlooking Bray Lake. The build is almost complete, so we are now focused on using the large amount of space we have available to create several new garden areas that will become an oasis of peaceful calm and beauty for our patients – and a place for bereaved loved ones to return to time and again, for years to come.
We need to raise the funds needed to create ten different stunning waterside landscaped gardens for the first patients we will be welcoming into the new hospice this summer. Each garden has been carefully designed to allow patients of all abilities and their families to enjoy outdoor space as much as they can. For those inpatients who can walk or be assisted in a wheelchair, there will be wide paths leading around the hospice and down to the magnificent view of the lake. In every area, there will be special places tucked away to sit quietly and reflect, or to share precious moments with loved ones in comfort. Outside every inpatient room there will be a garden of vibrant colour, sound and scent for patients and their families to enjoy.
Please help us to buy the plants, flowers and trees we need to create stunning new grounds and gardens for our hospice patients and their families. Click here to donate.
